Every monster behaves a certain way (when/how they threaten, if they attack as a group, how they attack, etc.), and enemy humans/orcs/etc. Learning how to slowly pull enemies one at a time (usually by slowly approaching them until one "pops up" and starts threatening you, then they charge and you can back away out of the threat range of the others) is the best way to start working on packs of enemies. 2 wolves at once are much more than twice as hard to fight as a single wolf. On top of that, multiple enemies are really, REALLY hard in Gothic.Stick with "Juvenile" versions of things right out of the gate, and work your way up to individual Scavengers, Mole Rats, Wolves, etc. Don't feel like you're supposed to be able to take on a warg or an orc off the bat. Don't be afraid to run away, especially early on! Gothic uses "soft" barriers to keep you in the right parts of its open world, and many places are meant to be inaccessible even though you can technically get there.combo is easier to figure out, and you can keep it up fast enough to keep some opponents at bay while you slowly wear them down Especially early on, side swings are your friends.Play around until you get the timing of swings, but note that you generally can't start a new attack until your old one has finished. Timing is really important in Gothic combat. These are all great, I'd add the following while endorsing all of the above: If you think one of your posts or comments was removed by reddits automatic spam filter, please message one of the moderators about it through a PM.
